Like lots of people, working from home during the winter means cold hands unless you whack the heating up all day long. I've tried fingerless compression gloves and still found that having hands on a mouse and keyboard meant they were always cold. The heated desk pad has completed overcome this and I can choose which of 3 heat settings I want, meaning I can get a comfortable temperature within seconds. It's so good, wish I had got one sooner!
It's super cool, except it's super warm. My hands are always cold because of medications and things like winter. But now, they're warm when I sit down for work. I love this thing! I just hope my cats don't figure it out. I'm sure they would love it too. Shhhh...
Worth every penny, I spend all day working on a computer in my log cabin and my hands get cold. Not anymore, my desk, workstation and hands are all cosy. Great temperature setting modes and bigger than I expected to lots of room.
Must admit I was a bit skeptic about how much heat a desk pad would give but following the recent cold snap, I’m happy to be proved wrong and found my hands keeping warm through a day in the office, so much that I didn’t turn the radiator on to warm the entire room as I’d usually resort to. A great purchase and already recommended to a couple of friends who also work from home.
This is what I’ve been looking for; my fingers always get cold!
The only slight drawback is that the underside of my keyboard gets very warm. I hope it doesn’t negatively affect it over time.
So far I've used the heatka warmer in our chilly office for over two weeks and it's been very good - an amazing heat output from such a thin mat. Neat design and generous size. Has really helped to alleviate my cold hands (Raynaud's Syndrome) and would highly recommend.
I always get super cold hands in winter working from home. My friends laugh and tell me to put the heating on and stop being so cheap. But I'm a firm believer that my money is better spent on things like wine, over burning fossil fuels and thus subscript to a 'heat the human not the house' formular to minimise my impact.
Thus far I have used the desk pad on a couple of cold days, and would rate - on those days my house temp was around 15C, and I didn't have to utilize my fingerless gloves at all to manage my hand circulation, but did concurrently use an electric blanket (also highly recommend one of these from somewhere!).
I'm hoping this positive experience remains to be the case through the depths of winter, but I'm feeling like it will. I first looked at these last year - and maybe should have got one sooner!
After using it for the past few days for 10 hrs a day, its definitely made colder days a lot more tolerable. Really good quality material as well!
Game changer for working from home - no more freezing cold hands while sat at my desk. Makes such a difference. Very happy
Working at my desk at home in winter has always been a bit of a misery - freezing cold hands, even with a heated blanket on my legs. The heated desk may has made a huge difference even on the lowest heat setting. I never leave reviews but am delighted with my purchase!
Brilliant heat mat for my desk. I was fed up of working at home with cold hands this is just perfect 🤩
To often products are referred to as game changing, but this has really improved my work life.
I work in an outside office with limited heating, my main complaint is getting cold hands, the Heatka means my hands are no longer cold, and I'm so much happier.
Usually have cold hands and feet but using the heated mat brings my hands up nice and toasty helpful for working on pc
Product is great.. however, I have a wireless Logitech MX Mechanical, and anything over 35degrees causes the keyboard to bend upwards at the ends and become unstable to use. No issues with the MX3 mouse I also use.
Got you covered! The Modern Hand Warmer should be up your alley. Sent you an email.
Has made my partners hands no longer cold and dead when working from home - much cheaper than running the heating, and a lot more controllable!!
Plastic items ontop of Heatka get quite scary warm, not melty warm but it feels like it should be.
For someone with Raynauds, this is game changing! It is a shame I can’t control what parts of the pad are heated - under keyboard can get quite warm, great other than that.
Great addition to the office. My wife now works exclusively from home and frequently commented on the hands getting cold, whilst working. The Heatka mouse mat was the perfect solution, and she loves it.
I suffer from Reynauds and in the colder months cold hands whilst working from home are a frustration. This mat fits nicely on my desk, looks smart but most importantly gets toasty warm and keeps my hands (even my mouse hand) warm. Working on the right temperature to set it at but even at 40C it's very warm, might be able to get away with less.
It's super easy to operate and the auto off function means you'll never leave it running forever.
Love it so far. Quick to heat, variable temperature. The only thing I don’t like is the cable, but since that’s pretty essential I’ll work something out. Really good though, easy to recommend.
I was looking for a non-usb powered heated mat for my work for some ladies with Reynard’s. We’ve bought 10 for work and they all go quickly and everyone is positive about them. I bought one for my wife as well for her arthritis she loves it!! As do the people she works witg
Over the last couple of years I’ve been suffering from swollen and painful fingers during cold due to poor circulation. As i work at my desk most of the days my hands used to be constantly cold due to cold keyboard and mouse. I’ve used the mat for 2 days now and only needed to turn it up to 35 degrees, and am able to work comfortably without having to worry about my hands getting cold anymore. Love it!
I bought the heat mat for one of my staff members who has Raynaurds and she is very happy with the item especially as we are now coming into winter
